Our research group is dedicated to the study of the physiology of the reproduction and... bill with the teachers' collaboration and students of Federal University of Ceara and other national and international institutions.

It is aimed at to generate knowledge on the reproductive physiology of mammals, seeking the development of techniques of common use for the society. They interfere in this context the activities of formation of human resources, from the graduation teaching to the master's degree programs and doctorate.

After the ejaculation, the spermatozoids and fluid of the tail of the epididymis they get in touch with the secretions of the accessory sexual glands. One of our objectives consists of evaluating the interactions between the proteins of the seminal plasma and the spermatic cells. Such proteins link to the spermatozoids and they participate in several events, from the training to the interaction with the oocyte. The definition of the functions of seminal proteins will aid the knowledge of the factors regulators of the fertility in the male.
